Curried Beef And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chopped onion, browned
2 Tbsp. oleo
2 lb. ground chuck
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/4 c. rice (uncooked; not Minute rice)
2 cans or jars sliced mushrooms and juice
2 tsp. curry powder
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of garlic powder
1 pt. sour cream
4 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Brown chopped onion in oleo.
Add ground chuck, salt and pepper to taste.
Continue cooking until ground beef is browned. Drain all liquids.
Add rice, mushrooms and juice, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, sour cream and bouillon cube dissolved in water.
Bake covered for 1 hour at 350\u00b0, or longer, if rice is not tender.
Add a little bouillon when re-warming.
