Ham And Cheese Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped ham
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Saute ham and onion in butter or margarine until onions are transparent.
    Salt and pepper to taste. While ham and onion are cooking, whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl. When the eggs are well beaten, gradually whisk in the whipping cream.
    Stir in ham mixture and Cheddar cheese.
    Pour into prepared crust and bake until golden brown and the center is set, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
