Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. soda cracker crumbs (1/4 lb. crackers)
Preparation

In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter or margarine.
Bring to a boil over medium flame and boil for 1 minute.
Add peanut butter, vanilla and cracker crumbs.
Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
When cool, the cookies are ready to eat.
Yields 3 dozen cookies.
