Sausage Pasta Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (13 oz.) can beef broth
    1 c. water
    1 1/4 c. uncooked curly pasta
Preparation
    Remove sausage from casing.
    Brown sausage and onion in a Dutch oven.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Stir in tomatoes, broth and water and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add pasta; simmer 15 minutes more until pasta is tender. Serves 4.
