Ingredients

1 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla, almond or lemon flavoring
1/4 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mix margarine, sugar and cornstarch.
Add flour until well blended.
Add vanilla and pecans.
Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Make 1-inch balls and flatten with a floured fork slightly.
Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, until firm and light golden around the bottom.
