Freezer Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
5 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. soda
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix yeast and water; set aside.
Mix flour, soda, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Cut shortening into flour mixture.
Add yeast mixture and buttermilk; mix.
Roll out on flour covered surface. Cut and place on cookie sheet.
Let rise for awhile and freeze until hard.
Put in closed container or freezer bag.
To bake, place frozen biscuits on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 until done.
