Tennessee Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. strawberry jam
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Blend in jam and eggs.
    Add combined dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured layer cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans. Fill and frost with Brown Sugar Frosting.
