Snickerdoodles(Penna. Dutch Christmas Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together first four ingredients.
    Combine shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs and mix until light and fluffy on medium-low speed of electric mixer.
    Blend in the flour mixture. Chill cookie mixture until easy to handle.
    Roll small balls in sugar/cinnamon mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until brown in 400\u00b0 oven, 8 to 10 minutes.
