Aunt Della'S Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water (112~ to 115~)
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. scalded milk, cooled
3 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2/3 c. melted shortening
10 c. flour
Preparation

Soak yeast in cup of water with 1 teaspoon sugar.
Stir and let stand 5 minutes.
Scald milk; add remaining 3/4 cup sugar and salt and let cool.\tMeasure 5 cups flour into large bowl.
Add softened yeast to lukewarm milk mixture and blend into flour. Beat smooth.
Add eggs and melted shortening and remaining flour. Place dough on lightly floured board or flat surface and knead to smooth elastic dough.
Use more flour if necessary. Cover and let rise until double in size.
