Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 ripe bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 2/3 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped (2/3 c.)
reserved juice from cherries
2 (16 oz.) containers dairy sour cream
Preparation

Mash bananas in large bowl; add drained pineapple, sugar, lemon juice, chopped cherries and the cherry juice.
Stir until well blended; fold in sour cream and chopped pecans.
Blend well. Turn mixture into 10-cup ring mold; cover with aluminum foil and freeze 8 hours until firm.
Unmold on plate.
