Caramel Corn(Like Cracker Jacks) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. popcorn
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/4 c. molasses
Preparation

Pop the corn; remove unpopped kernels and set aside.
Cook remaining ingredients over low heat to 240\u00b0 or soft ball stage (2 minute boil).
Remove from heat, then add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
Pour over popped corn, mixing well.
Put in 2 large dripper pans (I use 2 cookie sheets); put in 200\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Remove onto waxed paper and cool.
