Buttermilk Rolls(Makes 24 Medium-Sized Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Warm buttermilk.
    Combine warm water and yeast; stir until softened.
    Sift flour once.
    Measure.
    Add sugar, salt and soda and sift into mixing bowl.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
    Add buttermilk and yeast mixture; beat until smooth and blended.
    Dough will be soft, like a stiff batter.
    Cover with foil or plastic wrap; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
