Emergency Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 c. cut up cabbage
    2 potatoes, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    5 pork chops
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, then potatoes and onion.
    Put into a 2 or 3-quart casserole dish.
    On top, place the pork chops.
    Add salt, pepper and water.
    Cover.
    Bake until done.
