Double Boiler Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c sugar
    1/4 tsp cream of tartar or 1 tbsp light corn syrup
    1/3 c water
    1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water; beat with beaters until stiff peaks form. Scrape sides and bottom of pan occasionally. Fold in vanilla.
