Scrumptious Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer chicken or 6 to 8 chicken breasts
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. evaporated can milk
    1 c. water
    self-rising flour for coating
Preparation
    Wash chicken (skin if wanted).
    Put in bowl and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Roll in self-rising flour.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch foil-lined baking pan which has the foil buttered. Place small pats of margarine on chicken and place in oven for 15 minutes (no foil on top).
    Mix the water and evaporated milk together and pour over chicken.
    Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until done.
