Stuffed Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small apples, pared and cored
    1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    food coloring (red or green)
Preparation
    Peel and core apples.
    Boil until tender in enough water to cover.
    Add lemon juice to water to prevent discoloration or add food coloring, if desired.
    Drain.
    Mix cream cheese, nuts and raisins.
    Fill centers of apples with mixture.
    Chill and serve.
