Greek Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Northern white beans
    2 chopped onions
    1 chopped green pepper
    2 chopped carrots
    3 crushed chili peppers
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 oz. pure olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Take an 8-quart kettle.
    Wash beans with soda; rinse well. Put beans, onions, green pepper, carrots and chili peppers in kettle.
    Fill 2 inches from top with cold water.
    When the pot starts to boil, put tomatoes and oil in.
    Cook on medium heat for 5 hours.
    Serve with hot bread or French garlic bread.
