Buck Wheat Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. buckwheat flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    buttermilk
    1 cake yeast, dissolved
    pinch of soda in 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Make batter of first 3 ingredients with enough buttermilk to mix (not too thick).
    Pour dissolved yeast cake into batter.
    Let rise overnight.
    Next, punch down and stir in soda and water. Stir in hard.
    Pour onto hot, greased griddle.
