Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked sweet potatoes
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar, or less
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. lemon flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Add to unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 40 to 45 minutes.
    For crispness, have pastry a little thicker than 1/8-inch.
    Bake just until silver knife inserted 1 inch from side of filling comes out clean.
    The center will set later.
