Fettucini Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fettucini
    1 lb. maple flavored bacon
    1/2 lb. Prosciutto ham, cut in 1-inch sq. (optional)
    3 cloves garlic, diced
    2 Spanish onions, chopped
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan
    1/2 pt. half and half
    2 eggs
    desired seasonings (oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, chives or pepper)
    1/4 lb. butter (or more)
    olive oil
Preparation
    Microwave bacon until crisp; keep to the side.
    In frying pan, saute onions in olive oil over medium heat.
    Add desired seasonings and garlic.
    Add Prosciutto and cook to desired level of crispness.
    I usually cook for 1/2 hour and then turn down to low heat.
    In a separate pan, fry eggs hard.
    Remove and chop; add to onion mixture.
    In a bowl, mix cream with Parmesan.
    Beat until mixture is of milk shake thickness.
