Beef And Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 lb. head cabbage, cut in 6 wedges
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

In a large Dutch oven, saute beef, onions and celery until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender-crisp.
Stir frequently to crumble meat.
Arrange cabbage wedges on top of meat mixture.
Blend tomato sauce and seasonings.
Pour over cabbage. Cover, reduce heat and cook over low heat for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
Serve over beds of cooked rice.
Serves 4 well.
