Ingredients

3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 (4 lb.) beef chuck roast
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
Preparation

In bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, pepper and dry mustard.
Stir in catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar. Place roast in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Pour catsup mixture over roast.
Cook covered at medium (350\u00b0) oven for 45 minutes. Give dish half a turn.
Add onion and green pepper, cover and cook for 30 to 45 minutes longer or until tender, turning dish halfway once.
Skim fat from pan juices and serve with roast.
Serves 6.
