Chile Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 whole peeled green chiles *
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    5 eggs, slightly beaten
    freshly ground black pepper
    2 Tbsp. cream or milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a 10-inch pie pan or casserole dish.
    Cut chiles open and line pie pan, allowing top of chile to come to top edge of pan.
