Date And Nut Bread(Serves 20) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water (boiling)
    1 pkg. dates, chopped
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over chopped dates. Add baking soda and let cool. Cream butter, sugar, salt and eggs. Beat and mix with cooled dates, flour, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
