Date-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates, cut small
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter, melted in 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix dates, sugar, butter and water.
    Let cool.
    Add other ingredients.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
