Baker'S Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. water
9 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. box powdered sugar
2 egg whites
1 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring or lemon
1/4 c. cornstarch
Preparation

Boil water and sugar one minute. Set aside to cool.
Beat powdered sugar, cornstarch and egg whites with water and sugar mixtures. Add shortening and flavoring.
Beat until creamy. Will keep a week or two in a covered container in the refrigerator.
