Pickled Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 medium clove garlic, crushed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    dash of hot sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced in rings
    2 (6 oz.) cans whole mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except onions and mushrooms.
    Add them, then cover and store in refrigerator 8 hours.
    Drain just before serving.
