Chicken And Bisquick Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 whole chicken or chicken breasts
6 c. broth
3 c. milk
2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. Bisquick mix
butter, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Wash and boil chicken or chicken breasts until tender.
Use enough water to cover chicken.
When done, pour broth off and set aside 6 cups.
Season broth with milk, butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Have broth boiling; mix Bisquick with enough milk to pick up enough for a dumpling.
Pinch off dumplings from spoon the size desired.
Drop dumplings in boiling broth.
Press dumplings down in broth.
Do not stir.
Keep heat on medium to prevent scorching. Dip each dumpling in flour to thicken broth.
Tear chicken off bone and add to dumplings when done.
