Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, browned and crumbled
    1 qt. chicken broth or soup base
    1 qt. chopped ham and broth
    1 bunch celery, diced
    3 onions
    4 1/2 qt. shredded potatoes
    4 carrots, shredded
    2 qt. milk, thickened with flour
    salt and pepper for seasoning
    parsley or seasoning salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook celery and onions in bacon fat until done.
    Cook and drain carrots and potatoes, then mix everything together.
    Add the milk last.
    Simmer and eat.
