Orange Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs (at room temperature)
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    juice of 1 orange (at room temperature)
    milk (at room temperature)
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. seedless raisins
    sifted confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream the butter with sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Beat. Place orange juice in a cup.
    Fill with milk until it measures 1 cup.
    Add milk, orange juice and rind to mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    In another bowl, blend flour, baking powder, salt and raisins.
    Add gradually to butter mixture.
    Beat until smooth. Pour in a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar (optional).
