Jay'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tsp. oil
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/4 c. green chile salsa
    1 whole jalapeno chili, chopped
    3/4 c. chili powder
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    4 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, saute first four ingredients in hot oil until tender.
    Add meat, 1 pound at a time.
    When meat is cooked, drain. Add remaining ingredients, stirring after each addition.
    Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring frequently.
    Adjust seasoning to taste. Goes great with cornbread.
