Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla; mix well.
    Add flour and nuts; chill for several hours.
    Shape in balls or crescents; place on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (325\u00b0) for about 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar.
