Duch Lettuce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 slices bacon, diced
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. minced onion
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. water
1 bunch leaf lettuce
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except lettuce; add to bacon and heat just to boiling, stirring constantly.
Tear lettuce into pieces; pour hot dressing over and toss lightly.
Serves 4.
