Basic Vanilla Ice Cream * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. and 22 oz. milk
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs (slightly beaten)
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 large cans milk (condensed)
Preparation
    Scald 1-quart and 22 ounces of milk.
    Mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Add enough milk to this dry mixture to make a thin paste. Stir this into hot milk and cook over low heat until slightly thickened, about 15 minutes.
    Stir to prevent sticking.
