Ripe Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chopped ripe tomatoes, peeled
    4 c. chopped onions
    10 to 12 jalapeno peppers, chopped and seeded
    1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in saucepan and cook 1 1/2 hours, slowly, on slow to medium heat.
    Stir often to keep from sticking to pan. When it gets thick, put in sterile jars with tops and lids.
