Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. powdered milk
1/2 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix water, yeast and sugar together and set aside.
Sift together the flour, powdered milk, baking powder and salt.
Mix yeast mixture into dry ingredients.
Knead on lightly floured board until elastic.
Roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut into biscuits.
Brush with melted butter and fold over.
Let rise 1/2 hour.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
