Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    nutmeg (sprinkle on top of pie)
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla, gradually stirring in scalded milk.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
