Easy Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Add milk and flour.
    Peel and slice peaches (enough to make 1 quart).
    Sweeten lightly with sugar and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
    Place in baking dish.
    Spoon the batter over the fruit and bake at 375\u00b0 until crust is brown (about 30 minutes).
