Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (14 oz.) Kraft caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine caramels and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk.
    Melt and set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl combine dry cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts.
    Stir by hand until dough holds together.
    Press half of dough into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Baked at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust.
    Spread melted caramels over chips.
    Crumble the rest of dough on top and bake 15 minutes more.
