Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans (7 1/2 oz. each) minced clams
water
5 medium-sized potatoes, diced
1 large onion, chopped
4 slices bacon, chopped
clam liquid
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Drain the clams, reserving the liquid.
Place the potatoes, onions and bacon in a saucepan and cover them with the clam liquid and water (just cover).
Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
