Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked and cooled
    1 qt. frozen strawberries (1 c. sliced)
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix the sugar and the cornstarch in two-quart saucepan.
    Stir in water slowly until smooth.
    Add sliced berries.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear.
    Add red food coloring; cool.
    Stir in remaining berries, saving 1/4 cup for garnish.
