Grandma Creamer'S Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. lard or margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cocoa in 1/4 c. warm water
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar and lard.
    Mix dry ingredients and add them to the egg mixture a little at a time, alternating with the milk.
    Then add the cocoa/water mixture.
    At this point, you may or may not need to add a little more flour.
    This batter should be thicker than a normal cake.
    Last, add the blackberry jam.
    Put in 3 round cake pans and bake at 375\u00b0 until done.
