Chestnut Apple Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. raisins
    4 c. chopped, pared, cored apples
    6 c. fresh white bread, cubed
    4 c. coarsely chopped chestnuts (2 lb.)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bake in casserole dish for 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven.
