Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 medium green pepper
    1 medium onion
    2 medium fresh jalapeno peppers or hot red peppers
    1 to 2 cloves garlic
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of dried crushed oregano
    dash of cayenne
    dash of ground cumin
Preparation
    In blender, coarsely grind tomatoes.
    Add green pepper, onion, jalapenos and garlic to tomatoes.
    Process until vegetables are coarsely ground.
    Stir vinegar, salt and sugar into vegetable mixture.
    Transfer vegetables to a 3-quart pot.
    Simmer uncovered over low heat until desired consistency.
    Stir in oregano, cayenne and cumin.
    Season to taste with salt.
    Store in refrigerator or process.
