Banana-Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Pour buttermilk over bananas.
    Mix shortening and eggs.
    Add buttermilk and the shortening and eggs alternately to flour mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Use tube pan.
