Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. frozen broccoli
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. American pasteurized cheese
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook broccoli with onion in chicken broth until tender. Do not drain. While broccoli is cooking, blend butter and flour in another saucepan. Stir in milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add salt, pepper and cheese.
    Heat until cheese melts. Add vegetables to mixture.
    Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
