Cheese Ball By Fannie - cooking recipe

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 bunch green onions, chopped fine
2 pkg. thin sliced ham or beef
Preparation

Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for at least an hour. Stir cheese with fork until smooth. Add lemon juice, then mayonnaise and blend in. Chop only the green part of onions and add to mixture. Blend until smooth. Chop the ham by slicing both ways. Add to cheese mixture. Form into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill a few hours. Garnish with olives or nuts. Serve with assorted crackers.
