Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco.
Add sugar and beat until smooth. Add egg yolks and beat well.
Sift flour with baking soda.
Add flour alternately with buttermilk to the creamed mixture.
