Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in mixture of 2 teaspoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Bake on an ungreased pan for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes approximately 6 dozen.
