Zucchini Rapiene - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
    1 large zucchini, scrubbed (not peeled)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 lb. ground chuck or beef
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation
    Cut zucchini lengthwise in half.
    Spoon out pulp, leaving hollow boat like shells.
    Chop pulp.
    Brown ground beef and garlic.
    Add onion and pulp; cook until soft.
    Cool.
    Add slightly beaten egg, bread crumbs, 1/2 Parmesan cheese and oregano.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Spoon stuffing into zucchini.
    Place zucchini in shallow pan.
    Cover with tomato sauce.
    Sprinkle with remainder of cheese.
    Transfer to oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until slightly brown.
